At 26, Cem Demir — both a software developer and active site supervisor — got tired of watching construction firms drown in spreadsheets and built the solution himself. Combining a computer engineering background with real field experience, he created a platform designed not at a desk, but on the site.
Why Construction?
While studying computer engineering at university, Cem worked as site supervisor at his family's construction firm. Living both worlds simultaneously, he saw that the construction industry — one of the largest sectors globally — was severely lagging in digital transformation.
Workers on site were drowning in Excel files, the accountant was working from a different spreadsheet, the supervisor was writing in his own notebook. Data didn't match, calculations were off, and nobody had a clear picture of what was happening.
cemerr was designed by an engineer who came from the field, based on real needs. Every module was added to solve a real problem.
